By appointment, we open our doors to guests from around the world, inviting them to experience behind the scenes of a traditional weaving workshop and the sourcing of the finest Scottish textiles direct from the hands of the maker.
A tour at Araminta Campbell reveals the weaving process from beginning to end; from the sourcing of British alpaca fleeces, to the skills involved in weaving on traditional looms, alongside the time intensive hand finishing process. Visitors hear directly from our makers and designers, and encounter first-hand the craftsmanship and inspiration behind our textiles.

The Signature Collection of scarves and shawls are handwoven from the finest British alpaca on the looms seen in our workshop. Only sold direct from our studio, these pieces are created as one-of-a-kind woven artworks, inspired by the Scottish landscape.
Our Heritage service for bespoke tweed and tartan covers the design and production of unique cloth and products. Every design is customised to the client, often incorporating personal details, family history or a special place. Guests can commission their own design and have an initial consultation during their visit. This will go on to be further developed via correspondence and woven in Scotland to their specific requirements. Previous commissions have included custom tweed and tartan for the Fife Arms Hotel, the Royal Yacht Britannia’s Fingal and private clients around the world.
